“La Perle Des Antilles” yes, that’s right. Haiti was named “The Pearl of the Antilles” because of its landscape and its riches. Its people are beautiful and kind-hearted. But, Haiti has been plagued by political instability, natural disasters, and public health crises throughout modern history. Today, its people suffer from the same status quo, violence, kidnapping, political unrest, and two recent devastating earthquakes. So I ask you and the world; will we sit there, or are we going to DONATE to restore the faith of this country and its people?

WHO WE ARE

We are a nonprofit organization seeking funding from individuals, government, and non-governmental organizations focusing on human services, education, and reintegration programs. One of our priority goals is to decrease and ultimately eradicate violent activities, including kidnapping, group infighting, gang violence, and poverty in Haiti. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started this organization in 2021, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch L'union Fait La Force Caraïbes (https://www.unionflfc.org). We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits for the people of Haiti.

PRESIDENT & CEO

EDDY CLAUDE

Hello! Welcome to L’Union Fait La Force Caraïbes website. It is truly an honor for me to introduce myself and this great nonprofit organization. My name is Eddy Claude and I am an Active Duty Psychological Operations Specialist with over 17 years of service in the U.S. Army. I am the founder and the Chief Executive Officer for L’Union Fait La Force Caraïbes. I am very thrilled about this organization and all of its potential. Like many other nonprofit organizations, L’Union Fait La Force Caraïbes, or LFLFC , is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit focusing on human services, education, and reintegration programs. The organization’s mission is to decrease and ultimately eradicate violent activities, including kidnapping, group infighting, gang violence, and poverty in Haiti. I was born and raised in Haiti for eighteen years until I immigrated to the United States of America in February 2002. I am a proud, naturalized U.S. Citizen, and I love my adopted country dearly. Like many people originally from Haiti, I have a passion for the country and its people. Haiti has suffered from failed governments, corruption, and political unrest since its independence. The lack of basic infrastructure, social services, education, employment, and others are the major causes of the current situation. While the political elites are flourishing, many people live on less than two dollars a day and often sleep hungry. These are some of the reasons I founded this organization to help bring about some changes to the status quo. The organization will focus on reestablishing security through reintegration programs and workshops to help young people gain confidence. And have the belief that they live in a country where opportunities are endless. Hello! Welcome to L’Union Fait La Force Caraibes organization’s website. My name is Wilkère Noël, and I am currently an Active Duty Army Command Sergeant Major with over twenty years of service. I am stoke of this organization and its mission objectives for Haiti. Today, as we look at the current kidnapping situation, rival gangs fighting, political unrest coupled with natural disasters, we can categorically classify Haiti as a failed nation. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I want you to know that this organization comprises individuals with unmatched integrity and dedication. Haiti is a GREAT cause, and I believe the whole world wants to support to ensure its people are not left behind to live in fear of economic struggle, gang violence, corruption, and poverty that have led them susceptible to the same ideologies. My education background span various field including a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice (Public Service), Associates of Arts in Criminology, and other certificates and experience gained throughout my career that I am dedicating to helping educate, rebuild, reintegrate, and promote unity and peace. We believe in the organization’s mission for HAITI, and with your help, we make great strides in achieving our desired objectives. Hello, Welcome to the L'Union Fait La Force Caraibes website. My name is Saindy Pyles, and I am the Vice-Chair. I was born and raised in Haiti for 1st ten years of my life. Although I love my adopted country, Haiti will always be close to my heart. I am excited to be part of L' Union Fait La Force Caraibes and everything it offers our people. I worked as a Recruiter where I helped people find meaningful job opportunities. I also work as a wedding photographer in my free time. My experience as a recruiter will help provide interview prep and resume building during workshops.

GHORD EDOUARD

I was born to Roosevelt and Solide Edouard in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I moved to Connecticut at 16 years old and graduated high school in June 1998 in Bridgeport, CT. I attended a local community college, then joined the U.S. Army in May 2001. I have a passion for attaining financial freedom while influencing and sparking the interest of financial literacy within my community. My philosophy stands are: - be a producer instead of a consumer. -set the condition for success. - invest, be patient and trust the process. I work as a logistician for the U.S. Army and have supported multiple international and national deployments, including Afghanistan, Iraq, South Korea, and Louisiana. I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and am currently pursuing financial freedom via real estate, stocks, and small business investments. I also would love to become a philanthropist to create opportunities for the less fortunate in different parts of the world. My short-term goal is to retire from the U.S. Army, and my long-term goal is to attain financial freedom, build businesses, raise financial awareness within my community.

RUTH VALBRUN CLAUDE

Hello Everyone! Welcome to L’Union Fait La Force Caraïbes website. I am so glad you are here. My name is Ruth Valbrun Claude. I was born and raised in Haiti for twenty-seven years before I moved to the U.S.A. Like all of the management team, I am a volunteer secretary for the organization, and I am motivated to help it carry out its mission. I am very excited about this organization and its mission for Haiti. Haiti is dear to my heart. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse in my regular job, and I know how important it is to have dedicated health care services. The majority of the people do not have access to basic health care. The latest estimate on available hospital beds showed that 0.7 beds/1000 population. The infrastructure is almost nonexistent. So, please, I ask that today, you consider this quote on our website “what do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?”

I am thrilled to be a part of this dedicated group of trusted individuals and this organization's mission for Haiti's kind-hearted, beautiful, and resilient people. I was born and raised in Haiti. I am well aware of the struggle that the country has experienced throughout modern history. And the same status quo has continued to impact people's lives as if we were still in the late 1950s. I am the Vice-President for this organization and a Civil Engineer by trade.
